Repair

History

Mercer Valve began their valve repair business in 1986, under the direction of Wesley L. Taylor. We became "VR" certified in 1986, and have been repairing all manufacturers' brands of pressure relief valves, up to 8" in size.

In the fall of 1989, Glen Quillin became the Valve Repair Manager. Glen had been in the oil and gas industry as a Production and Drilling Superintendent for 15 years before joining Mercer's team. Since that time, the Repair Division has grown from a two man shop to 21 employees.

In addition to the "VR" shop, we have added an "ANSI" shop, repairing and selling rebuilt pumps, ball valves, orbits and gate valves. We have increased over the years to four mobile units and one emergency unit.

We recognize the importance of safety and training. Mercer Valve Repair Division has an extensive training program to insure that only qualified technicians are working on our customer's valves.

We take pride in our work, making sure the customer gets a quality valve and service at a competitive price in a timely manner.
